Psychanaut at Brew Station Summer turns to Fall

For those of you who were there, you know we played some  crazy shows at the Brew Station this summer…June, July, and August.  And it was hot.  One of the shows happened to fall on a 104 degree day that seemed to hardly cool down for the show at night.  I performed barefoot — it was just too hot for shoes!  The show must go on, no matter what the weather, eh?  But you guys crowded the place and made it fun, so thank you!

But now here we are at Autumn Equinox, and Psychanaut will be taking a hiatus for awhile.  One of our players has just had serious shoulder surgery, and another seems to be physically not up to the grueling nature of our shows, so we’re taking a much anticipated break.  And I’m looking forward to having a bit of time to walk in the forest and play in the garden before winter arrives…

Not to say that the studio will be neglected; it seems to be crying out for a bit of updating, and there are new tunes tugging at the edge of consciousness, urging us to write them into reality.  So there’s that, and if you’ve been following me for any time at all, you know that just stepping into the studio guarantees that days will vanish into the soundscapes.

And finally, I am accepting a limited number of clients for skype counseling sessions.  If you feel led to work together, go ahead and follow that intuition – just contact me!  I am unlike many counselors in that I will only work with a few clients at a time so that I can give you the attention you deserve.
